The Matrix instance will be sunset on September 1st, 2025 following a decision in regards to the company's misconduct, and how that has reflected on the utilities we use. This was not an easy decision, but we cannot effectively moderate federation due to design choices that were specifically chosen to support language and rhetoric that voilates our code of conduct. We hope you understand our decision to go forward with the removal of this service.
