I'm James, a software developer and sysadmin in Texas. You're looking at a server I built and set up by hand.
I find greater strength in being a big picture person; with me, there's always a creative idea brewing. I mature the idea with verifying plausibility through research, and mentally simulating events. If it survives the process, the big picture is drawn. I always ask myself constructive questions throughout that help refine my solution.
While I do fare alone, I find my strengths are amplified in a team. I'm always looking for people to talk to and work with, and I'm happy to listen to what others have to say.
I find myself often in the position of a team leader, making sure qualifications are met and helping the group push forward. I believe in the people around me, and want them to succeed as much as I want myself to.
